Attorney Allison Higgins
Lead attorney Allison Higgins is a first-generation college graduate and entrepreneur striving to help other entrepreneurs protect their brands. She was born and raised in rural Louisiana but now resides in San Antonio, Texas. Her first taste of the legal field began when she was just 15 years old when she began working at a local law firm as a file clerk on school holidays.
Her undergraduate education was completed at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing with a specialization in Legal Studies.
She continued her studies by enrolling in law school at Tulane University in New Orleans. While in law school, she focused
her studies on intellectual property and business law. This included doing a directed research course where she spent the semester creating a paper called “The Intersection of Law and Entrepreneurship: Where Do Lawyers Fit in Anymore?” Additionally, Allison was one of only five students from her class chosen to participate in Tulane’s pro bono trademark clinic for entrepreneurs and artists.
The Story Of Quest:
In 2020, Allison’s husband was stationed at Joint Base San Antonio for the Army. Once she moved, she decided to open her own practice and bring affordable legal help to entrepreneurs in San Antonio and all over Texas. Low and behold, a law school classmate had just started building a law firm but was having to let it go for personal reasons. The two attorneys worked together for several months to make sure it was a good fit, and then Allison took over Quest officially in the fall of 2020.
